Title suckered me in seeing 4 tb and $45. Odd how it populates those fields.

Does this use USB-C, or does it still use that side-by-side connector of ext. HDDs of old?

8tb works as well. 5 bucks more than it was three weeks ago. eh... I feel like these drives should be way cheaper considering there are 14tbs are floating around. Wth, I'll pull the trigger on this one I desperately need the space.

The Seagate Backup Plus Slim 2TB is most likely an SMR drive. It wouldn't be too bad if you need a lot of space in a laptop or portable drive, but I don't really need it. Good price though.

This comparison convinced me not to bother with sticking it in my laptop: https://www.anandtech.com/show/14...able-smr/3

What's odd is you guys are just now noticing. I came in just to see if someone commented on it. It's not a mistake and has been going on for years.

I've seen it hundreds of times as well. This one looked especially botched.
