why do these gun deals get "cleansed" from the hot deals page, and relegated to the subsports forum?

Because we no longer live in an age of personal responsibility. If an idiot does something bad with a gun, society rushes to blame the availability of the gun more than the actions of the idiot. You hear this point of view so often and from so many sources these days that it's rarely even questioned anymore. My guess is that the moderators who move the threads were probably raised in that environment and are just following along with the popular "guns are bad" narrative.

All depends on the specific AK model you have.
You'll *likely* need to have a mount, such as an RS Regulate mount as they work well, to attached to a side receiver rail. If you don't have a side receiver rail, I'd probably pass on this.

Well, this is a 3x magnification optic. That's the first difference. You could use magnifiers for the EOTech and Aimpoint, but it gets a bit bulky. I'm assuming the 1X optics of those two companies, since that's what they're known for. Also, this is really really cheap in price in comparison.

All of my optics are Vortex. Better reticles than the other brands and can compete with them in quality and price.
