I have the FX505DV-PB74 (the 120Hz screen on mine appears to be the only difference.) It is a great laptop. Runs most games smoothly and temps aren't bad. The only con is no DP output so you won't get those frames on an external monitor (if that's your thing.)
Who here has experience with AMD? I've always been an Intel kind of guy.
People have said over the last few years that AMD might run hotter... But they seem to be priced cheaper for the "power" you get - compared to the competitors. Those are the two things I've seen said most often

I have the ASUS TUF with a Ryzen 5 and 1660ti and so far I've had used this much more than my more expensive desktop. No lag issue with most games and I've been able to play some games on 4k attached to my monitor and still stay above 30fps.
