Chair doesn't look comfortable at all. One of the benefits of racing chairs is being able to sit on a racing chair.
Yes, but if you look at other options that are around the $200 price, none of them are "cockpit" style like this and also include a chair. That being said, the full price of $350 seems a bit ridiculous considering there are much better looking (and more comfortable looking) setups at that price point. But if you're set on spending $200 and want to buy new, this may be a good option.
This is coming from someone who has been keeping an eye on sales and has been close to buying a racing cockpit for over a year now and keeps chickening out because I'm worried I won't use it.
I have an old Playseat Evolution (paid $149 from Amazon back in 2007). The seat is quite comfortable and I can sit in it for a long time without discomfort. The design is not my favorite but its fine.
I'm seeing a lot of hate for the pillar center mount design. A lot of sim racers complain it gets in the way vs a mount that goes over the legs.
Having used both, this is correct. The center post won't make it impossible to use but makes you put your legs in unnatural driving positions especially if left foot braking

I use a Playseat Challenger and it goes over the legs. It may be a glorified lawn chair but hell it works great.
