Don't use a regular credit card! They will randomly reactivate months after you cancel and refuse to refund your money.

I did this 4 month trial of Tidal just to see if I can hear a big difference between Spotify. I have Sony WF-1000XM3 and the WH-1000XM3 cans and cannot tell a difference in sound quality. Additionally I have a home theater system and Aiwa Exos-9 Bluetooth speaker and also no noticeable difference. If someone has a track that's more noticeable can you please suggest it? I do listen to all types of genres but couldn't detect anything

As a side note, I absolutely love Spotify for their music Discovery. Tidal isn't even in the same class for music Discovery. Their recommendations seem to be based on what THEY want to push and not your music tastes. You can find most songs by manually searching for them but the difference is Spotify would lead you to those songs whereas Tidal could never. Just my experience.

With all the unlimited data that's being given away for the next 2 months, might as well get HiFi

Awesome. Thanks. Just got some sweet new speakers and I want to try to see if I can hear the difference between the Masters quality on here and very high on Spotify premium.

Can this be stacked on an existing membership? What if I cancel my prepaid 5 months and then try to join this?

Tidal has the best sound quality. Will need this when my 5 for 5 expires. Choose HIfi if you have good headphones.

You can make the tracks available offline, but not download to use on other devices.

Yeah, found out the hard way. The files are encrypted, so I have to use Tidal for offline usage.

Yes, FLAC which is the hifi or masters can be downloaded for offline use while you have the subscription active.

I subscribed to Hifi already. Kinda disappointed cause I wanted to share the (M) Kidz Bop 40 version of songs with my sister. The normal variants are usually inappropriate.

There recommendations are terrible! You're right it's just what they want to promote and have nothing to do with what you listen to.

Here is a song where you can hear the difference on a Master. Faith No More > Introduce Yourself Master (Album) We Care a Lot (Track).

For those of you who are legit super interested in the comparison of the lossless versions or at least the top end.... Check this out - https://youtu.be/FURPQI3VW58

If you want me to save you the 18 minutes... Tidal, Spotify, Apple, YouTube.
