Lenovo Smart Display 10" with the Google Assistant for $99.99 + free shipping at Lenovo.com. Retail price is $249 but usually sells for about $130 to $170 on sale.

I have one of these and it has a very good screen image (1920 X 1200) and sound is also pretty good for a smart display. You can upload all of your photos to google photos for free and this can display those so it also makes a nice photo frame.

Uh oh, someone is going to get slapped down by the admins for using the R word.

This is a fantastic device though. My wife video chats with our daughter and grandson every day.

Smart displays are limited in what they can do compared to a tablet. They are freestanding and have a certain number of functions built in, such as ok google, youtube, video chat, and photo frame screensaver. They do not have a battery.

I bought one of the refurbs for $75 back in October to give to my Dad for Christmas, and it pulls photos from an album on my Google Photos account, so he can always get fresh pics of what his granddaughter is up to.

This particular model also has a recipe app built-in, as Lenovo assumes many will use it in the kitchen.

The refurb I bought for $75 was in brand new condition, I'm still hoping for another one of those deals to pick up another one.

Will never go back to Google mini again , it's nice to see how much time left on kitchen timer. Got mine on *bay refurbished too like brand new.

I have one of these in my kitchen and I love it. Also as an FYI you can cast to this including Disney+ YouTube and Google Play Movies, but NOT Netflix.

Can you cast only audio such as Pandora?

We have a hub Max and a few of the smaller hubs. Does this one play YouTube TV? Currently I can ask what's on tv and it will bring up the guide and I can pick. Or I can say, play HGTV and it will.
Also, if someone rings my nest hello, will these automatically display the video feed like the nest hubs?

In for one. Been waiting for this deal since last Thanksgiving.

I think this is the best smart display out there (including vs Google home hub max). I have Amazon's Echo Show 5 and, while it's nice, it's too small and doesn't have Webcam so you can't do video chat.
Also, Google's system integrate with Google maps and such so you get a lot more functionality.

I bought a bunch of smart home stuff on BF so I've been looking for this display ever since.

At $100, it's the cheapest one out there with all the same features (and then some).

I have the original Google Home Hub in my kitchen and we use it every day. Should I consider upgrading to the Lenovo?

-$5 with code EXTRA5
-$4.75 with ID.me (if you are a student).

Don't miss this extra discounts guys. I purchased this as a refurbished one from ebay and I like it a lot.

Got two of these last year during the refurb deal as well and one was literally brand new, shrink wrapped and all. The other was just bouncing around in the cardboard box... But was in pristine condition nontheless. So if a refurb deal comes back I'd say it's worth it.

This has a permanent home in my kitchen. Watch a ton of YouTube on it while cooking, control thermostats and the like with both voice and touch. Tells me the traffic at a glance. The speaker is very loud for the size.

Of all the IoT things I have, this gets the most use everyday.
