Not to dissuade anyone from getting what they want, but for anyone who is price conscience.

I was waiting for the XM4 and decided to get a cheapie bt headphone to hold me over. The headphone I ended up getting for $25~ was crazy good for the price. The noise cancellation is a little weak but I didn't think the XM3/QC35 did that great of a job in that department either. I probably won't upgrade at all unless the new generation gets a substantial bump in noise cancellation.
What did you get instead?

The "urlhasbeenblocked" brand headphones seem to be on sale and there are a few coupons floating around on other deal sites. I got the H17 and have the H19 in the mail as a backup. They are just chinese clones so I imagine multiple brands offer the same product. Cost me $25 and $12 after coupon.

I bought both QC35-II and XM3s...due to SD of course and XM3s are that much better, this is a killer price for them

The only things I know about Sony are from reading the Amazon reviews, so can't help you there. I have owned the past three models of Bose and love them all. Most Sony reviewers seem to prefer them over Bose, so we shall see. Also, did not love the "Rose Gold" color I had to buy to get the Bose deal in Amazon. Rose Gold, aka pink...

Buy from secondipity. They are the unofficial sony outlet. You will get brand new products in white box.

XM3s are worth it at this price, not sure what the XM4s will retail for when they release

I bought a pair of these in beige just to test and then returned them to Best Buy. They are really good, better than Bose. Noise canceling is excellent. The sound quality is awesome if you use Tidal or a couple of other services, you can get full 3D immersive sound. The case is very nice and the headphones fold flat to take up minimum space
