At the end of the crisis, consider donating the remains of your stockpile (food, TP, etc) to your local foodbank. Food insecurity is an every day issue for may residence of your country.

The CEO of Feeding America makes 800K per year according to Charity Navigator. The CEO of Northwest Harvest makes only 160K per year.@

No, just this. But do take a few seconds to click. It's nothing out of your pocket and every little bit helps. Smilie

What if my family is hungry after next week or 2? Can we get some food from them? We can't find any dry food now. They are all gone from the shelves.

That's actually a hilarious idea. Can you imagine the free advertisement T-mobile would be getting? Literally on your face. If I was t-mobile I'd totally do that for next week's deal. Although people rushing to the store to get it is probably not a good idea Wink

If you're being serious, contact your local food bank or call 211 for assistance.

Why do they need everyone to log in and click a button instead of just making a donation? Worst T-Mobile Tuesday ever.
Some people don't trust charities as most of thier money goes to admin and labor cost. Plus TMobile only donating up to 500k, if less people click they save money

The time it took for you to type that, you could have already clicked it. Nice job ranting, though.

I used to work at the Salvation Army. The corruption was pretty bad even at the local level, both the greed and the waste. The executives actually gave themselves military rank titles, preach about God and were cruising around in Benzes.

A local Goodwill was that way too. It was in an older, wealthier neighborhood so they'd get and sell all the antique furniture and jewelry directly to dealers. When the managers got busted they had over $100K cash in the store safe and vacation homes in Mexico.

Most donations go to salaries and overhead. The 501c3 tax returns are publicly available. Maybe 10% will go to the actual cause.
