Of course it's through Newegg. Hard pass on what used to be a great company. Too bad, this is in the right wheel house.

Good deal but I've only ever received rebates back half the time so I personally don't trust them.

Great deal on great specs. I feel like if you're prepared to jump through all the hoops and dot your "I" and cross your "t" you'll get the rebate. I waited on Slick Deals rebate for 2 months and finally got mine. I'm sure NewEgg is no different.

Similar spec/price in the Acer Refurb store, also better build quality:

Solid specs for the price. Just have to be willing to deal with the extra work/time of the rebate. Hard to beat this for the price though! Especially with that 17" IPS 144hz display and 1660 ti.

Been looking at gaming laptops for a while. It seems like every time I get an alert for the right brand, specs, and price, it ends up being NewEgg.

I have had problems in the past with their service, rebates, shipping damage and return policy. It makes me too scared to pull the trigger. Can anyone tell me if they've improved?

I am right there with you. Saw the price on my notification and then saw Newegg and rebate thought not a chance.

Definitely not worth it with a rebate, and much less so with all the crap going on in the world right now.

Pretty sure we're going to start seeing fire sale prices on tech in the next few weeks.

NOPE. Civilization is going to collapse before you get that rebate.

At least with toilet paper you can barter.

I would think there would be fewer bargains with factories in China etc. shut down and shipping disrupted.
