It doesn't look like this includes the DLC/VR stuff. I'll hold out for those. Still, very good price.

Since the majority TL;DR ADDers dislike when I go into details, I'll keep this short and say I recently played Prey and thought it was an excellent AAA game. It plays beautifully on my PC. Everything about it was well done and I consider it Bioshock 4 in space. It got me looking at other games by Arkhane Studio considering how polished Prey was. I've only encountered 2 minor glitches in the entire game: 1 stuck Typhon and 1 objective marker never showed up. I've had other AAA games crash and have far more severe bugs.

I think that's the Deluxe Edition which was $8 on Steam last July. Keep waiting and it'll be that price or less again.

How can you tell it doesn't include the DLC/VR stuff (mainly interested in VR)?

Not really interested in VR but does the DLC add much?

Amazing game. Think of Bioshock mixed with Deus Ex and Dead Space.

Don't let my comment about this game detract from you buying it. It's an awesome game for most, including myself. I concur with others opinions about it being bioshock in space, which means it has one of my most hated game mechanics, re-spawning enemies. You will back track a lot through this game and this game relies on jump scares to keep you on your toes. In bioshock you can see enemies before you start fighting with them. This game will make you backtrack and then make something on a desk a hidden enemy that jumps out and scares you. Some love this idea, some don't. You can later in the game get your enemy detecting scope thing to recognize hidden enemies, which helps but it really takes you out of the game when you're constantly walking around in scope mode just to get through the next area.

Not the person you're replying to, but I think the DLC only comes in the "Deluxe Edition"

Ahhhh. Jump scares. I'm not a huge fan. I mainly want this for the VR mode / bits anyway. I'm holding out for the $8 deal again!

They patched out the exploits on a single player game, so if you don't like the grind, you will just give up.

You don't lock down a game if the game mechanics aren't perfect, this isn't doom.
