Long story short, the netcode is crap, hit detection and issues with accuracy and the like are a major issue shoot first die first is the norm. Warzone is free if you want your call of duty fix get that and play that for free with a lot less of the bs, warzone still has many issues and I personally think blackout was way better, but warzone is very similar to the rest of the online gameplay in the normal modes. This game belongs in the $10-20 range and even then I personally wouldn't recommend it but it would be a better deal in that range.

Have to massively disagree for several reasons. The first being the warzone mode is free for anybody and is the biggest mode in the game with the most players. That said warzone itself has major problems like the rest of the game, most shooters these days are full of problems with you shooting someone with a full clip and then they kill you in like 2-3 shots. This is mostly due to very poor netcode, hit detection, and the active servers. They say this game is on dedicated servers but it's obvious it's not as the game is full of all kinds of hit detection and accuracy issues. Almost all of the maps in the game are either full or partial remakes from the old modern warfare where they literally copied and pasted the maps. Like most major games the game is all about money, micro transactions, weapon camos and characters etc, and the gameplay is last on the list of their priorities. Combat gameplay is also heavily unrealistic as its full of people using nothing but thermal or RPGs, sliding all around like they are skating on ice, and constantly trying to drop shot you(quickly going prone from standing while shooting). The best call of duty is still the first one from years ago way back on Xbox 360, the next best would be modern warfare 2 and then call of duty 4 modern warfare, this game while trying to be like the old modern warfare is one of the worst of them. That's not just my opinion that's also the popular opinion from most original cod players. I have played almost every call of duty made including ones on pc and the gameplay in this one is one of the worst, I even many years ago played cod professionally so I have plenty of experience to know what I'm saying.

I have been playing COD for a very long time and having fun with it. yes they have been updating new maps with redesigns but they also added 1v1 and fan fav old maps like rust etc. last few days I have been having blast with warzone. There are bugs here and there I agree but I can't deny it's very much fun. Apart from that you get co-op special ops missions and don't forget campaign was one of the best I have ever played. Is this the best COD I have ever played? No, but it's really fun and full of content for the price. And hey you can get warzone for free so anyone who is debating to buy it can try it out first, see if it fits their play style and make a decision.
Some people do enjoy it, but many don't for the reasons I mentioned. That said I do agree people should download warzone and try that out for free, if you enjoy that then you will probably enjoy the rest of the game and make the decision then. This game will keep dropping in price though, I wouldn't be surprised if 2 months or less from now it's in the $25 range.
With how bad the multiplayer was I can't really blame them. It definetly taught me not to preorder COD games in the future though
I would hold off buying the full COD game at this ~$40 price point.
