Breville Dual Boiler Espresso Machine

Bed Bath and Beyond has the black and red Breville Dual Boilers available for 1,299.99. If you have a store that you can go into, you can ask them to place the order for you and apply a coupon. I live in SF and we are currently under quarantine so I paid 29.99 plus tax to sign up for Beyond+ (extra 20% and free shipping). I tried calling and chatting with a support agent was wasn't successful in having them apply the coupon. The 20% off brings the price down to $1,039.99 which is a great price especially with BBB's good return policy of 6 months.

UPDATE: It took 24 hours, but I received the text coupon that I requested last night before signing up for Beyond+. I was able to apply the 20% coupon in a mock checkout not signed into the Beyond+ program.

Regular BBB coupons are working on the black model for now! This is likely a glitch as they aren't supposed to apply to Breville online.

Thanks OP. I was able to place an order applied the 20% off.

The tricky part is you need to register BBB text offer. After 24 hours you will receive the coupon. But you do not need it. Just go to BBB website to do guest checkout without logging in. Enter your phone number used for text offer. The 20% coupon will be there and applied to the machine.

I got the red one for $1,039 plus tax. Not the best price (I remember it was $900+ with no tax from a Canadian store and $999 from costco last year) but good enough for me during these days.

Given today's prices ($899), I'd say yes. Given the initial MSRP ($799) or the fact that at some point they were at low as $599, perhaps not so much. Is it worth returning and waiting to save $120? Don't know. I do know that the 3 second warm up is very enticing. I don't know that I could live without the pressure gauge. I've had the Express since 2013. If you do keep it, you're going to use it so much that you won't regret keeping it! Enjoy!

That's crazy the prices jumped around. It kind of sounds like it should have just replaced the old barista. An executive probably decided last minute to keep both and have separate prices. Kind of unfortunate but it seems like more and more companies are doing it that way.

The retail price has gone from 1,299 to 1,499 so no.
