I own one and it's a beast. I was going to buy a 3700x but got the 3800x used at a steal of a price. I paired it with a Sapphire RX 5700 Pulse and gaming at 1440p is smooth and CPU isn't breaking a sweat. PC also doubles down as a PLEX server and is in 24/7. Power draw is very low and after 2 months I see no difference in bill.

off topic but can you do any hardware transcoding with either the ryzen or the 5700? I thought plex had no support for amd hardware at this time. Just curious. Thanks.
