I did this deal a few months ago when it was $25 ($35 minus $10 with promo code) and I thought that was an excellent deal. This is even better....wow that's a lot for $20 count me in.

Oh nice... I love Panda... I don't care what snobby people say about them saying it's "fake Chinese food". Their portions are usually horrible compared to other fast food Chinese places, but a family meal at this price should even it out. I hope more places offer discounts through apps.

Their panda app is horrible though... Even though they say you can "favorite" an order, there is no way to access it; whoever designed or is in charge of the app is a real failure.
I agree. Even as fake Chinese food they are ok. I don't know about you, I rank their food higher than PF Chang. But with Panda Express you have to do a little bit math. This is a deal I might be in for. It sucks that you can't use the GC with App but it's been a while since I ordered from Panda so I don't know if it's still the same. I still have GC I bought at discount but they never have any deals outside the app.

Local Chinese take out are hit or miss. I know one that is amazingly good. Then I go to NY and I ate the most horrible fake Chinese food ever cooked by Chinese. At least Panda seems to be relatively consistent.

Edit: wow they accept GC now. It's really been a while since I ordered.

I have stopped eating at Panda Express. Their portion sizes are very, very small.
That may be true for the regular meals, but the Family Feast is actually quite a lot of food. It'll feed two people heartily for 2-5 meals depending on gluttony. For $20, you're getting quite the bargain for prepared food.

Anytime you eat and Panda, do the survey on the receipt. It gets you a 3-item plate for the price of a 2-item. That brings a 3-item plate under 10 bucks after tax. So while I realize this deal is for "large" size entrees, under $20 with two receipts would get you 6 portions of entrees and 2 sides that fill the largest portions of a divided plate. The size of the portions varies by who's scooping it, but if you've eaten at Panda, you know they usually don't screw around.

I ordered but it was from a store that is closed, so when I canceled the order I no longer have the option for the $20 deal. It' appears a one time use only.

I don't get how people are saying their portion sizes are small. Do your stores not load your carton up? For like $8 they completely fill to the brim the to go container. Any other Chinese place around me is more like $10-12 for the same amount of food, and its usually not as good.

Family size portion boxes is no comparison to 3 combo on regular plate... They really are stingy with the small plates but family size boxes, they have to fill to the top so personally, I never get a good amount ordering regular plates/extra survey receipt, but family portions are good, especially at this price. I also believe some servers might look at your body and if you're huge, then they add a bit more but if you're skinny, they skimp on the portions.
