I was misinformed on my last post. it looks like this game is not in any of the Jackbox packs, can anyone confirm that?

Can anyone speak to how this logistically is played local multiplayer with one Switch? Do you draw on the handheld screen or with controllers? And is it good for kids (ages 5-10-ish)?

The switch only hosts the game in the tv.
You login and draw with a touch mobile device like an iPhone or iPad. There's no app to download, you just load their website.

A phone or tablet is used to play, there's a code given that you put in at their website to join the local game.
