It's not a mistake. This is the way independent game companies get visibility in the Switch store. They drop the prices to obscene levels, get tons of sales, go to the top of the sales chart, and then the price goes back to full price. At that point, people see it at the top of the charts and buy it.

My 7yr old son and I have found watermelon party to be pretty fun. It a competitive puzzle game. I bought it when the price was 7x higher than this ($0.21) and still found it a good deal.

Honestly Revenge of the Bird King isn't horrible. Plays like a bizarro Mega Man where weapons grow on bushes. Don't think you'll get a lot of play out of it considering all the great games that have been recently released but pay 1 cent and get a gold coin in return so it's practically free. You might eventually get to it when coronatine takes us into overtime.
