Lowe's [lowes.com] has the 2-Ton Torin Black Steel Hydraulic Bottle Jack on clearance for as low as $6.11. YMMV. Also I see prices of $8.21, $9.17 and $10.14. Free store pickup.

$9.39 here but we are supposed to stay home this week however ... if it was half price beer I would consider it essential.

This is a good price for what it is and thumbs up for the deal, but keep in mind that in the realm of bottle jacks, these are pretty small and while capable of lifting 2-tons may have limited application due to their min/max heights and 6.5" lifting range.

Minimum Lifting Range (Inches): 7.125
Maximum Lifting Range (Inches): 13.625

By that logic the 20 ton one at Lowe's isn't good for much either since it's min max results in only 4" of lift. Bottle jacks for the diyer don't really lift that high generally; nothing wrong with that.

I was just trying to help by giving the specs so people would know whether or not it would work for their application. If your needs call for a 20 ton lift with 4" range, then that jack sounds perfect. This one is great for those needing to lift up to 2-tons, up to 13-5/8" high with a minimum clearance of 7-1/8".

This is a fantastic deal if you need many points of support for lifting something. I'd buy 30 at this price if I could, we're raising the front of our house 5" this summer, the safest way to do it is a jack under each joist. HF has 4 ton jacks for $14 with a coupon, but that's twice the price and I'd still need a jack under each joist...
