Awesome find! I bought three gift cards through Samsung Pay which ultimately reduced them to $149 + tax. I ended up buying an 11.5 and 12 to ensure I get the right size and will return the other for free. Thanks and repped!

So since you paid for them with gift cards, what are you going to do after you return the other pair? Keep the gift card balance?

I paid just over $200 with my cc and will be reimbursed to my cc when I return one. Anything over a gift card amount will be reimbursed to cc not gift card.

Haven't bought boots in 20 years, but just recently went boarding with the old gear. I saw a lot of boots with the cable type of tightening (just looked it up, its called BOA). Is that not the norm for boots now? I guess i'm surprised these boots are laces with the BOA technology out.
Maybe someone with more recent info can help educate me. Thank you!

you can "lace" in faster with boa, but it tends to tighten the entire length of the cable run, whereas with traditional laces, you can somewhat modulate it. the higher-end boa boots have dual zone boas (one for the feet, other for the ankle or shin) for that reason.
I got some dual boas from DC and love them, super comfortable. The dual boa system is super easy and feels perfectly snug. I will say, the lower boa on top of the foot is starting to pull away from the shielding/outer layer after only two seasons (probably 40 days). Could prove awful if they fail on the mountain. I've heard complaints with the boa system regarding that before, so i don't think it's just my specific boot. I'd probably still buy them again and am going to attempt to repair, but buyer beware.
So tempting, I already have Boost golf, tennis and hiking shoes. I wonder how the material is on snow? It is strange that they didnt make it a BOA on their highest end boot...
