Wondering if these places will still be in business in a few months.
If the bonus card is similar to the promotional bonus cards offering during Holidays, note that it's gotten restrictive and cannot be combined with any coupon or offer, including the Happy Hour menu. So you can use the e-gift card on the Walkabout Wednesday meal, Four Course meal, etc. but not the $20 bonus.

I use to chase these bonus gift cards all the time, from multiple restaurants, but they've reached the point where they're essentially useless, unless you're somebody who orders at full menu price.

No, Outback is owned by Bloomin' Brands. And Darden sold Red Lobster several years ago.

Good at Carrabbas and Bone fish too according to faq.

" What is an eGift Card? An eGift Card is an electronic or eGift Card, as opposed to a traditional plastic gift card, and can be purchased from www.outback.com/gift-cards and can be redeemed at any at any Bloomin' Brands restaurant locations in the United States. Also redeemable at Outback Puerto Rico Guam locations."

Nice find, OP! Especially since the bonus bucks don't expire until 2021.

Got my $50 sent to a friend and the bonus card came to me. I'll print and send the bonus card to him since he was laid off for the virus thing.

Probably but just do two separate transactions to be safe.

They used to be a client of mine.. can't say industry as to give me away and bite me in the ass. They're not in the best financial state. Not horrible. But not great. Their footprint is huge. I could see them moving out of/shutting down their operations in most large cities since those restaurants tend do do poorly aside from Flemming's. They do great in suburban areas in the south though.

I was going to buy one but paused to make sure I could use a Gift Card to pay for an online order.
That's when I realized that both Outbacks near me (San Jose, Campbell), have closed down. Apparently for good, not virus related.
