    You can now install Google apps and debloat your tablet. For those who hate the Amazon ecosystem plus the ads they put on your tablet you should try this:

    One word of caution. The 2019 Fire HD 10" is still not rooted yet so we cannot flash stock Android yet. Also GAPPs notifications are still a huge hit or miss so don't expect your email, hangout notifications to work properly. That's probably my biggest issue with this tablet so far.

    Super easy to use and helps you save some memory. 2 GB is the biggest travesty this tablet suffers from. The processor in this tablet is actually faster than the Samsung 10.1 Tab A tablet

    For the money this is still my go-to tablet to recommend when it's on sale at this price. Not the best but plenty for most people and super easy to get Google play store sideloaded onto.

    Decent for 1080p video.

    I used that floating app from the google app store, played 2x 1080p video simultaneously. Lol that's about the max it can do. Everything starts getting choppy if you do more than that.

    You can't control this tablet via teamviewer but you can use this to control other devices. Downside of not having a "real" android os.

    Also my notifications don't work on this thing compared to my prev gen hd fire 8. I think they did something to prevent that with google playstore apps? I couldn't find a definitive answer on the net, but that's a theory. =/

    Agreed, with a few mins work to sideload google apps I have the older 2017 10.1 tablet and it runs excellent. The best tablet for the money by far out there. If my older generation didn't work so well I would be in for 1

    Do these have that crappy chime at power on (with no way to turn off) that the 7" do ? Great for waking someone up to let them know your going to read at night.

    It works for my wyze cameras.

    I would assume that if you can get google play apps, it will work.

    I think you might be able to disable that in the developer options, that one where you have to click something 5x to access the menu options?
