Any comments on the reputation for this drive? I'd like a tertiary backup for photos. Already using one of my systems plus a WD external, but I want redundancy for photos of my daughter.

I can go way back and say that I spent something like $250 on a 40 MEGAbyte drive for a desktop I built. I couldn't imagine filling that drive up at the time. Big Grin
Every now and then I like to take these small windows of opportunity to remind myself and the community that I spent about $150 on a 1tb portable drive and $100 on a 320gb firewire 400 non portable drive. SD Cards are even worse. Thats all.
Yep. And I had a Timex Sinclair when they were new and I spent a few bucks on the 32 Kilobyte memory expansion module; it doubled capacity from 32K to 64K so you could load more complex programs in via the tape drive...

Hahhahaha!

Holy crap man that's ancient. I guess I can be considered a millennial?? ('96) but I still complained about the $110 I paid for my Seagate slim (that stopped working after 3 months)

Now I have the GameDrive and it's good. I don't have much experience with SSDS

Just an FYI, these need a USB A to USB C adapter in case you use Macs that don't have a USB A port.

I spent about the same for a 500 GB external hard drive.

I'm not even particularly old.
