    oh yeah buddy these are terrible, I had 3 of these and all three are gone with fish that got away. BTW price is not really slick you can get really good fish nets at your local store if needed for a few bucks more while supporting local small businesses.

    Thanks! Thought for this cheap it'll be a good back up - I'll check it out. If it feels like junk I'll return it - they take returns at my store pretty well.

    Trash net, should be illegal. The design is such that it guarantees severe tail fin damage.

    After using this style of net for years, I finally switched to the ones with plastic or rubber "netting". They are soooo much better. Easier to get fish out of and you never have to worry about tangles. I was so mad at myself for cheaping out and not switching earlier.

    I have one of these. Not a very good net. I will probably upgrade to a rubber style net this summer. The fish get tangled easily and I had to repair parts of the net where the net broke at several knots.
