The way android routes audio codecs thru bluetooth causes significant latency to the point that its noticeable watching video or streaming events.
aptx is the lowest latency codec available for android based on some testing that folks have done
I have these Sony's and really like them. I think the noise cancellation is great actually. I tried some bose quiet comfort headphones and I honestly thought these were better. These also sound amazing. There are a lot of settings in the app for customization. I gave away my airpods.
They are $125 refurb on amazon right now. I bought them refurb and they were basically new.

Dont know, but apparently the noise canceling on these is pretty weak, might wait a few weeks and grab the sennheiser version 2s if theyre any good.
I've read multiple reviews that say the same things so I'm cautious about the noise canceling feature.
But out of curiosity, did you try playing around with the noise canceling option in the Sony app? I heard that this helped with the noise canceling for some people.
Came from airpods to these. Amazing. NC amazing. Sound amazing. Battery amazing. Comfort is a hit or miss for some but for me they fit perfectly. Got these for 110 open box and love them!

Any idea if the DAC on LG phones fixes this?

I am not sure it would do anything. Pretty sure the DAC is in the earphones as it should be a digital signal to the earbuds
