Assuming we can fly, there are some great deals. We are hoping to travel from Baltimore to Denver in May for a medical procedure for my wife. Decided to check out ticket prices after getting this e-mails from Southwest. All non-stop flights between Denver and BWI are only $45!!

So, we booked our flight and have two round-trip tickets for a grand total of $180! Of course, that is all tentative on how things evolve over the next several weeks, but haven't seen almost cross-country flights that cheap in AGES.

Great opportunity to reset your existing fares. I fly often so I buy in advance and get travel credit if rates go down.

I'll roll my existing credits into October.

I'm afraid may is too early. My earliest estimates are for September.
Most places have banned non-essential medical procedures, so I'd consider the possibility that it will get cancelled

Thanks for the advice, but we've got it covered. We actually just made the appointment (they called us with dates yesterday as that is when they are currently planning non-emergent care), and will not be surprised if it does get cancelled (or if we just don't feel safe travelling). It'll get rescheduled But, this is Southwest after all, so we'll just get the credit and use it whenever travel is actually possible.
