Most likely not.

Typically when a watch is sold on Jomashop, it means the demand for it is low and sellers are moving inventory through secondary outlets.

No. You buy it because you like it, not as an investment.

Omega holds its value reasonably well if purchased second-hand/grey market (Joma/Ashford/Gemnation/etc.), but don't expect this to be the same grade of investment as a stainless steel Rolex in the professional line (Submariner, Sea-dweller, Daytona). Not even close.

Check some of the used watch outlets (Bernard Watch, Crown and Caliber, chrono 24) and see how these watches are doing. The 39mm watch size is considered a tad small in this day and age, so may be a slow/low price seller if you decide to sell it.

Also, try to shoot for a watch that comes with a bracelet. You can always swap that out for a third-party strap and the watch will still look good. It's hard to go the other way. OEM bracelets are typically very expensive and very difficult to find used or grey market.

I second this. Just purchased a Jaeger Lecoultre from crown and caliber that was in excellent condition that was about half the price of the new model. You can usually save 2k from gray market prices on the MUT or MCD. That's for JLC specifically. I'm sure the discounts for Omega are a bit less but still substantial from a % standpoint.

The 8500 movement in the AT has a jumping hour hand like the GMT. This lets you easily set the hour when traveling or for daylight savings without stopping the watch.
Having said that, these deals are not too impressive.

Why you need a watch if it does not increase value ?

Data shows, in a time of recession people's first impulse is to secure all their assets in Luxury watches. 🤙

No it will not. And especially if it bought from grey market dealer. Especially from jomashop.

Look for pre-owned market from trusted sources. You will always be ahead. Omega extends the warranty on the watches purchased from Authorized Dealers to 5 years. Not suggesting buying from AD. Rather suggest buying used that was previously bought at AD.

And if you decide on grey market it's a legit choice as well, just don't buy from Joma - you will get tons of headache if a watch you receive is not perfect (and it should be since it's sold as new).

One thing I learned, never ever buy a luxury watch on line. Especially Jomashop. Go to an authorized dealer and buy a new watch with all paperwork and warranty. I don't get people that will go an buy a used Rolex for $15K on eBay, while the new model in store is $17K. It's not worth it. , so many fakes out there. And watches with aftermarket pets.
I would buy it new and have the manufacturer 5 year warranty
