For everyone saying that Verizon doesn't have better data, let me just say that I have had T-mobile, AT&T and Verizon on a couple of different accounts this year and my notes from a side by side comparison of data from each are:

1) Verizon data is smooth and natural. T-mo always seems harsh on my monitor. AT&T seems similar to Verizon, but feels sort of muted.

2) Hands down, Verizon has the widest soundstage. Both T-mo and AT&T data just feel close, like you can't really move around in the data.

3) Verizon and T-Mo data texture is similar, and far more lifelike than AT&T. AT&T has almost an uncanny-valley feel to their data.

4) Even on compressed files, the data from Verizon is fresh and clear - almost like they're using higher energy electrons, or perhaps their cell tower radiators are wired so that the copper alloy grain has been more carefully aligned.

Now, I'm not a cell tower tech, but if I had to guess I'd say that Verizon probably pre-conditions their interconnect cables with several days of random data and ensures that the in and out ends are marked so that the directional bit flow is correct in the field.

You can say that maybe I'm no longer enjoying the web, and that I'm enjoying the data for data's sake, but I think if you understand - I mean really appreciate the value of the purest internet you can get - you'll understand why Verizon is the gold standard.

Complaining about a company helping people because it doesn't benefit you is a little silly, eh?

"That darn soup kitchen, giving away free food to people when I already have a stocked pantry? Pfffft!!"

So if I'm stuck at home with good internet, what can I burn all this data on?
