Can't wait to get my copy on March 31. Hopefully there are no delays. Also, the trophy list for Persona 5 Royal is sooooooo ridiculously easy compared to any other previous Persona games. It's kind of joke how easy it will be to complete as you don't need to play NG+, collect all Personas, beat the secret bosses, hear a # of voice lines, etc.

Just look at how much of a joke these trophies are. The Persona fan in me is crying a bit. However, the trophy hunter in me is slightly relieved that I won't have to beat Persona 5 four times over in order to get these 2 platinums...

In the regular version of Persona 5 you essentially have to beat it twice, once in a normal play through and a second time in New Game+ (which is faster than the first play through obviously), in order to get the platinum trophy. In Persona 5 Royal, you just have to play through the game once and don't even have to do a full 100% completion run to get the platinum.

I said that I was happy that I didn't have to play the game "four" times in order to get both platinums. It'll just be 3 play throughs now, no where close to 5 Wink

Great game, glad it's getting a special re-release like 4 did with golden and 3 with PES.

BUT... come on Sony, you really. had to lock this one down as an exclusive as well? No real excuse this isn't on multiple platforms by this point.

And just to confirm, there is no way to transfer a save from vanilla to Royal right? I just don't think I can stomach going through the first 40 hours again and bringing it over, and I realize there are new elements which is why they want fresh saves. As much as I think this is a nice new game, it's frustrating how so many devs re-release the game with better stuff after a couple of years. Makes me not want to finish the first play through and just skip it. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I wish devs would make the game they want to make, release it and just move on to a new story/game.

That's how it works for your console to sell. It's the deciding factor for ps5 vs xbox series x. People will look for games exclusive to each console. Not who ever is the powerful machine. Just like Nintendo games.
