Vitamix owner and love it. Tip for all you smoothie lovers- make a big batch of your favorite smoothie and freeze what you aren't immediately going to use. We use 12oz Mason jars with reusable plastic lids (you can find on Amazon). Take one out of the freezer the night before and put it in the refrigerator and it's ready to drink (with a little stir) in the morning. Game changer for our 2 person household with the 64oz container. Cheers!
I make 18-20oz shakes every morning in 64oz container, and it's fine. But I wish I had 48oz container.
I got this one in red off of amazon recently. Love it so far and got a good deal, so I immediately bought the 32 oz container since Im usually solo and disabled. I can say I did use the 64 oz waiting for the other. The minimum material to cover the blades is about just a little more for one persons smoothie and the tamper makes it work. Im just not good at portion control sometimes so the 32oz just makes it all around easier for that and quick daily use/cleaning...

Just my two cents, sorry if it that didn't help too much

How is this compare to the A2300 series?

Same exact blending performance (same motor, same size and shape container with same blades) in both Ascent and Explorian (E320 here in this deal, E310 is slightly different) .

Ascent series (like the A2300) add Bluetooth (to run recipe programs via mobile app), timer, and a few built-in programs. It might be A BIT quieter (more sound insulation) but not certain, and it will be SLIGHT difference, if any.

Downside is Ascent requires more expensive (and possibly less readily - available and available in fewer sizes) special containers with RFID chip inside.

The MAIN/FIRST photo in this post shows WRONG MODEL (shows Ascent, this deal is for Explorian).

Anyone with experience with the 64oz container? Seems a bunch of folks think it's poor for blending smaller quantities. I'm looking to blend personal smoothies, so maybe 16-20oz or so.

Looks like a great deal. Just ordered one!

3 Year manufacturer warranty is the reason I go this refurbished unit. Their new ones have a 5 year warranty so this is a great peace of mind for me.

It is recommend to use at least 3 cups in the low profile 64 ounce container. It isn't really good for anything less than that. I have this exact model from a previous sale. I've been looking for a cheap 32oz container or the old school tall 64oz container but they are pretty much always over $100 for the container alone

i hadnt realized vitamix models had got so complicated. I just like that they worked. daughter dropped the container and it looks like they want a bunch of money for just that so i might have to buy one. If one doesnt care about bluetooth type stuff and just wants the best no frills blender they have, which model would one chose.
