A 100% air mesh back panel keeps air flowing when the pack is strapped on, and a front-access stash pocket organizes your scholastic materials. Specialized pockets for your electronics and eyewear offer easy access to important items today's action athletes need when they're out and about.
Think this will be good for me on my motorcycle? Currently have an Alpinestar backpack that I'm going to replace. Didn't see anything about it being waterproof

Depending on your riding style, and what you're riding, this may not be a great fit.
For a sportbike, back protection is a nice to have. I would definitely want a waist strap, especially if you have anything heavy in it. And as you said, these aren't waterproof, the zippers are exposed.
Edit: in general, I'm a fan of oakley backpacks, but the lack of detailed reviews, or even good pictures worry me for this model.

Is there a backpack "enthusiast" group/forum/section somewhere?
Have a older K2 interglacier that works really well for me, and I would like to find a close modern alternative that has many of the same features, fit, and carrying capacity.
Doesn't seem to be many popular choices as a alternative for that type of pack.
There are two entries for each on their site. Is there any difference? Wonder if this would fit my Acer Predator...says 15" laptop sleeve but the Acer is kind of bulky.

please take a look at Ogio No drag Mach 1, 3 or 5.
I have the white one and the warranty is awesome too.
The water bottle pocket doesn't look deep enough to keep your water bottle secure enough from falling out. I have this problem on an old Jansport I have with a similar mesh water bottle pocket.

This has a similar design main compartment flap but It looks to be way less ridged than the kitchen sink.
Good price. That grey looks pretty slick.
