Not a bad deal. You need to put the price in the title or else you will get downvoted.

Thanks! I forgot to after I posted it again here in the hot deal forum, since I did it first on another thread (Deal Talk/Discussion), but wasn't showing up as a new posted deal.

Totally not. I even did a parts breakdown on the previous deal on how much it would cost to build it. You can't get it cheaper than this. Someone bought this deal and said the parts used were quality ones. So even if you do or do not know how to build, this is still cheaper and saves your time from getting the parts.

It does? Every RX 5700 I'm seeing online is $300+. That processor is about $180... Guess everything else in the build is free somewhere...

$180? You can buy the 3600 for $175 and the 2600 is no better than a 1600AF which is $85. Valuing the 2600 at $180 is ridiculous

it's exactly $700 in parts, give or take a few dollars. similar part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JYQnjp

the trade off is you lose the warranties. if you buy everything yourself, you get a 3 years + warranty on every part. if you buy this prebuilt it's 1 year.

the CPU is $120. $99 when on sale or at microcenter. even the new 3600 is less than $180. i paid like $160 for a 3600 last week.

ITT (and every gaming PC thread)....

Terrible deal, this is like $500 in parts. Here's an unrealistic price list to demonstrate.

And now since I kinda have to.....
Case comparable to Spectra C100 with tempered glass panel and 4 LED fans= $50-$70
"Capable" 550w PSU = $40 (give or take, depending on deals, and/or tolerance for "off" brands)
Ryzen 5 1600 AF (slightly inferior to 2600) = $85
RX 5700 = $273 AR LINK [newegg.com]
512gb m.2 SSD = $60
2x4GB DDR4 = $40 (would definitely spring for 2x8gb DDR4-3200 = $68)
B450 motherboard with onboard Wifi = $85 LINK [amazon.com]
Cheap USB keyboard and mouse = $20
Actual Windows 10 license = $100 (or activate Windows 10 Pro with a $2 grey market key bought at that big online auction site)

Sum of red numbers is $753.
Cheers

Crappy case = $30
8gb ram = $25
crappy PSU = $40
Gpu = $270
Mobo = $70
Ssd = $50
Cpu = $85 (same as that AF edition)

= $570

If you are going for a 5700, you do not want a crappy powersupply and a crappy case without fans or airflow lol so going cheap for a 5700 build will not work. You have to put decent parts (psu, motherboard, case, fans) which will always cost more. The least you can build this with the exact same parts is at $700, WITHOUTT OS, keyboard, mouse, and the 2 free games as AMD gift.

its not bad for general public, but usually these builders cut corners on case, PSU, ram and drives, with the PSU being the critical issue.

Is that picture accurate in the website? It's got an intel cooler and oversized case with low end brand psu
