I have probably bought a dozen refurbished Hitachi drives in the last couple years, I've only had one show up DOA and it was immediately replaced. Besides that I've never had any issues with any of them
$2 cheaper than directly off their website due to tax on Newegg.
Anybody know if their warranty is the same when buying through Newegg? On their website, they include a 3-year warranty, but it doesn't mention a warranty on Newegg.
Eh. A few years ago $15/TB for used 3TB Ultrastar drives was still a good deal. Now... not so much. Saving just $10 off regular $70 price. I'd pass unless you really need one right now. Especially if it means buying from GoHardDrive. I don't see anything wrong with buying a used Enterprise class hard drive, but think the price could be better.
these drives mostly from data centers, probably already run 3-40K hours( about 4-5 years) , could die anytime. however stil good deal if your data is not important . Good Luck!

If your data is important you make backups, not hope your hard drives don't fail.
Same price on Amazon with 2 year warranty. Amazon Refurbished. I have a lot of the 3tb drives and while they are datacenter pulls they are quite reliable just do a full scan using WinDFT when it arrives. Its worth the wait. A lot of datacenters are converting to SSD if they have the money so some drives might not have as many hours as drives purchased a few years ago.
