I believe they just got a $20,000,000 bailout form tax payers! Fukk them, they should be feeding the poor!
Agree 100%. Chase called all there big clients and told them to apply for these bailouts. These were suppose to be for small business owners. The loop hole was that as long as each location didn't have more than 500 workers than you can apply. Big Banks, Big Corps and the dictator can all rot in hell.
It's not a cash windfall. It's money that has to be used for payroll to be eligible for forgiveness.
Let's keep politics out of this, please. There are plenty of other forums all over the internet for that.
Easy to say after reading financial reports.
They are still actively selling products for take-out. So they are still generating income.
They made $42 million in profits in 2019.
They literally just have to show that they used the money to pay wages, rents, and operating expenses while the profits they generated prior years remain safe in the bank.
Joe's Dentistry just failed because they exhausted the $2 million in reserves they had to pay rents, wages/insurance, and leases on the equipment they use. They haven't seen a patient in over a month and all the employees have now been furloughed. Joe applied for the PPP and the SBA funding the day the programs opened but both were exhausted by the time the bank got to his application. Joe will declare bankruptcy as soon as the courts reopen and will not be reopening his practice.
Ruth's Chris will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so and go on charging $95 for a 10oz. Dry Aged Ribeye and $12 for the side of steamed asparagus.
That isn't political. That is reality. Ruth's Chris got the SlickDeal.
I'm like, this is a great deal even if I can't eat there. Then I read the comments and wholeheartedly agree that it's a bad deal. F'them. This is no essential business. FYI some Costco sells usda prime for less than the discount off this coupon. A 1.5lbs. rib-eye for under $25, albeit raw.
