The Titanium Easy-Flux 125 Amp Welder can be got for $169 using two coupons. Possibly the lowest as their 20% off coupon does not work on welders.

1. Item specific Super Coupon in the mailer for $179 (expires 3/31) you have 4 days.
2. Extra $10 off of $100 (fine print clearly states: after all applicable discounts) not valid on-line. (also in the recent mailer - expires Apr 1st)

A beginner welder with great reviews and popularity.

https://www.harborfreight.com/tit...56359.html

Extra $10 off $100 is on their website https://www.harborfreight.com/
Super Coupon attached.

Ask the cashier to scan both, you will get both discounts. My total was about $184 after tax. This is a pre-order only so you can pick it up later.

Stay safe!

This was just on sale for $159 last week.

That aside, does anyone have this? Been thinking about picking it up but wondering how well it works for weekend DIY stuff. probably wait for the price to drop again though it has been $159 twice in the last month.

I bought during Black Friday for $150. I used it last week for the first time. I know everything there is to know about welding but never did it before. "Doing" is a lot different than "Knowing"...Hah. the welder is fine. I need work.

What kind of helmet did you get? That's the only thing that scares me. I'm afraid to get some counterfeit or cheap knock-off helmet that's going to destroy my eyes.

The expensive one from Harbor Freight. $150. Rated as well as $350 ones. Works great

I'm not an expert so take this with a pinch of salt...

If it doesn't hurt your eyes then what is there to worry about? It's not like welding gives off x-rays, or even UV.

You really ought to delete this. Even brief exposure to an unshielded arc can cause an extremely painful burn to your eyes.

i think you are missing the point, which is the fear that a cheap/generic welding helmet WILL hurt your eyes, by not dimming the super bright arc sufficiently.

I bought a cheap flux welder off Amazon and have been thinking about getting this one from harbor freight, half the size/weight with much better reviews.

With my current flux core welder I have been using this helmet I got off amazon also and it has been working great. At the time I bought it it had the highest rating, its lightweight and solar charging hasn't let me down yet.

Get one of the flipper style, buy appropriate lens shade for type of welding you will be doing. My local welding supply has the glass available in every shade for a few bucks.

These are guaranteed to work and a heck of a lot cheaper. They don't look as cool and are slightly less convenient.

thanks for letting me know!!! I have missed those super coupons I guess. I assembled their 1720lb trailer and was thinking about welding it as per some YouTube videos.... I have only welded once while in college....never after that... will give it a shot Smilie

Also for anyone who frequents harbor freight save this website. It's like slickdeals for harbor freight coupons and it even shows you price history.
