bruh, i rather pay the $299 than do all that.
Try getting the average homeowner to do this. Now you see why these products sell.
Weird flex but ok....Ubiquiti has had its fair share of firmware problems as well my dude. I'm a tech nerd and have 0 interest running a box 24/7 and the Unifi Controller (I know you don't _need_ to keep it running but you really don't get full features without it). My 6 year old Tomato router is also my NAS, Ubiquiti can't do that...just saying, different strokes for different folks.

Been waiting for a good wifi6 router, how is this one for handling MANY wifi devices (assume 50 to 100, but all using minimal bandwidth and just need to stay connected) , is Google homes, Amazon echos, WiFi cams that are not streaming 99% of the time, tablets, etc.

I have the Archer c9 and find so many of my devices temporarily lose connection and it seems like they are swapping places with another device half the time

Ps, can I buy 3 of these and use one on each level with the middle Floor being the master and the other two being like relays (via Ethernet) ?

Interesting how similar it looks to the similarly named Asus ROG model. Too bad it's not that one. Even so - seems like a great deal for those of you in the market for this but probably still overkill for most folks. Unless I see a deal for the Asus- gonna wait til the next gen of AX/WiFi 6 devices.

My C9 does the same thing with Google Home hub and some other devices. Might go back to my T Mobile Asus or get this or the orbi.

What's the breakdown of devices that are 2.4Ghz vs 5Ghz? I'm assuming you have a lot smart lights/plugs/switches?

Pretty sure that was a price mistake that they ended up shipping out anyways, I wouldn't hold my breath.
