Does it do 4:4:4 though? I have no idea what that means, but I've seen it thrown around hihi
It's 4k input compatible
Same with all those "1080p" projectors. Still probably a native/actual 800x480 resolution
Which, this seems to just be the screen, so you'd have to figure out a frame for it.

I thought it was another typical led 1080p projector.

Waiting for a suggestion as well.
i wanna buy this just to mount on my wall in the basement with a projector instead of investing in a new tv!
If you're serious about a high value DIY screen, I built a screen using material from www.carlofet.co
If you are after a permanent install, I would pass on this screen for just for the fact of the creases being a uuuuuggggggeeee pain to get rid of.
Alternatively, get a nice sheet out of your laundry, hang it from the wall when it's fresh out of the dryer and call it a day. No creases, and no purchase necessary. We did this to watch a UFC fight in the back yard and it was acceptable (and free).
I would buy this screen 10x over the folded mess:
100" Projector 16:9 Projection Screen HD Adjustable Tripod Manual Pull-down 87" x 49" Portable Foldable Stand

How cheap? And I'm guessing you're planning on watching in the evening/night time? How big of screen do you desire? Screen size and brightness/ambient light are all big factors to consider. If you buy a "cheap" projector with low light output and try to watch at 135" +, you're probably not going to have a good time.
My recommendation would be to search Facebook marketplace/ Craigslist for atleast a 720p projector. only thing you really need to watch for is how many hours are on the bulb. Bulb life varies by usage and maker, but much more than about 3k hours on bulb and I would be factoring in a new bulb into price.
