Just a warning to others. Staples mail in recycling is notoriously unreliable... However, given the current climate, it is better than nothing.

Who wants to gamble and wait until the end of the month when its Earth Day to see if they do another double ink recycling offer? laugh out loud

Earth Day is towards the end of April which is the month I was referring to. No, I meant Staples. They did double ink rewards for America Recycles Day 2019. Those who recycled too early in the month did not get double rewards.

Agreed. Every time I give mail-in recycling a chance I always end up regretting it. It's guaranteed that you'll need to call customer service to request an account credit.

As for the suspension of in-store recycling, do you happen to know if it's a nationwide policy or a store-by-store one?

Corp sent out memos to all the stores. YMMV on cashiers enforcing it. I imagine most stores will not allow recycling (or shredding). A lot of the cashiers are pissed they have to work and that Staples considers itself "essential" when all of their TP, PT and sanitizer has been sold out for weeks.

All of which can be ordered online and delivered within a day or two from Staples... My comment was in reference to how Staples associates feel about corp making them stay open.

I find it very hard to believe that they decided to suspend the recycling program but didn't send any email out to customers informing them nor does it say anything about this on their website.
