you can get free shipping any time if you have an android and a GPS spoofer. No need to be a cardholder.
That may be beyond some people's capabilities. And with the stores closed now, it may look suspicious that you are placing an order from within a closed store. I doubt Kohls is that sophisticated though.

To be fair you don't even have to be "in a store" - just the vicinity usually works (parking lot) as well.

I've done that many times before and for some reason haven't been able to get the Kohl's app to recognize my new (fake) location since they closed their stores. I even manually entered the free shipping code for when you're in the store and it wouldn't work so they may have disabled it.

Me too, I have not been able to get it to work since they have closed.
Wow - so some of you drove down to Kohls store to just get free shipping in last couple weeks of lockdown or stay at home? So much for flattening the curve.. guess you are OK as you were still social distancing.
But now I know why so many vehicles are on the road - lol

I mean the stores are closed so spoofing depends on if you can give the impression that you're in store. Therefore it's not supposed to work.

Before the shutdown I was able to get free shipping even if the local store whose location I was using was closed for the day. I had a habit of shopping during the 11 pm news.
Sorry I cannot find the email they sent for the exact information, but Kohl's extended the expiration dates of rewards due to the COVID-19 spread. I think it was pushed out a month or two but if you call customer service with your account information they will give you the date.
