2.3 GPM sounds impressive....until I read 2.3 GPM @ 100 PSI

The Karcher K1700 is still the best bet for me
Whether it's appropriate or not to be buying a pressure washer right now, is for the individual to decide, but using a pressure washer on the other hand, why would you not? Now is a great time to do things outside (but away from neighbors). Of course this depends on where in the country you are, how badly your location is hit, and your personal belief on appropriateness. But for me, work around and outside the house (as long as I don't have to go get supplies) is a great way to pass this down time.
This is the 2018 model, but in general he has the most extensive electric pressure washer tests and likes the Greenworks over the Ryobi.

Thanks, been looking for a deal on a pressure washer. Does anyone know how this compares to the similar Ryobi model at Home Depot?

Would this be suitable to work with a foam cannon for car wash?

I've been looking into both models. I think the important thing to keep in mind is that he is looking at this purely from the perspective of car washing, and nothing else.

He measured about 2100 PSI coming out of the Ryobi model, and about 1275 PSI coming out of the greenworks model. I ended up ordering a certified pre-owned unit of the Ryobi from Direct Tools Outlet for $150 based on that info, since I wanted it for stuff other than washing cars.

I thought he said he was very disappointed in the Ryobi brushless but I have not watched it in awhile. Glad you like your model.

I just ordered mine on Wednesday, so I have no idea if I like it yet Smilie.

He did say he was disappointed in the Ryobi, but again his reasoning is clearly from the point of view of someone that only cares about car washing. It seemed like it was mainly that it's loud, doesn't auto shut off when you let go of the trigger, and its pressure is too high for car washing.

I'm just mentioning this as a heads up, because in every pressure washer deal thread people will link to his videos, and I think it's important to realize that he's only looking at them from the perspective of car washing.

I almost listened to what he had to say and missed out on a previous sale of the Ryobi. Then I realized that he said the Greenworks 2200 PSI model was outputting 1275, while the Ryobi 2300 was outputting 2100. My use case includes cleaning my driveway and patio surfaces, so having a higher PSI is definitely what I'm looking for, and it's not something considered by his tests at all.

Very good for car wash. I replaced the wand and added quick-connects so it's even better than as-is. The only downside I've noticed is that it will trip the circuit so must be drawing a little over it's advertised amps. Don't like the hose so I replaced it too. Have cleaned home siding, walkway, driveway, and fence with it with no issue other than you need a good extension cord to get distance coverage.

Fair at this price. Wouldn't pay more for it though.

So funny you post this. I was looking for a good gas pressure washer and in my store this was right next to the gas ones. I thought it was gas at first and I read that on the box and thought to myself, how the hell can they even say 2.3 gpm at 100 psi? That's like a garden hose attachment. Unbelievable. Personally, at this point if I'm spending 200 on a pressure washer it's going to be gas. Most of the electric ones are the same.
