I have the bigger version of this (5.3 qt) and we end up using it all the time. First couple of times it may have had some plastic smell to it, but now we're using it multiple times a week for all sorts of things. I realize its not much different than a convection oven, but its so much easier to use. THis is a decent deal but I would worry about the size, can't imagine we could do much with a smaller version!

The Oster air fryer toaster oven that goes on sale for $70 all the time is a much better deal than this for $50

I recommend whichever air fryer you buy - get the BB warranty for an additional $9-10. It's worth it. I picked up 2 air fryers around BF 2018 and both of them broke or cracked around the handle or at the bottom of the tray. Because of the warranty I got a gift card for the price I paid.

I am planning to buy a ninja foodie xl whenever it goes on sale.

I personally do not like them with baskets. It becomes a pain to thoroughly clean it. I recently bought a new one with a basket with slots. Much easier

You can make anything crispy with the air fryer without using bucket full of oil. We even reheat fries and other left over stuff and tastes fresh.

I have even roasted peanuts, cashew almonds.

Chicken wings, kebabs you name it.

I live alone and have a 5.3 qt that I can max out with stir fry. Unless you are using this for small.batch items is not gonna be big enough. Especially since the more spaced out the food the better the cook imo so go bigger.
