I keep hearing about an AMEX card. Can you point me to which one it is?

Thanks. I don't have an AMEX card yet, always kept away from them because of having to pay the entire balance off every month. But I could use it for a deal here and there no problem.
The Amex offer is through Amazon eligibility. Not everyone gets it. I had this time and it was 20% off for a total of $50 off. Amex does offer cards that you can pay monthly instead of all at once.
So you get the AMEX card, add it as a payment method to Amazon, and then sometimes you'll be given a promotional deal out of the blue?
