Amazon [amazon.com] has Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 (Graphite) on sale for $9.99. Shipping is free with Prime or on orders of $25 or more. NLA

Best Buy [bestbuy.com] also has Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 (Graphite) on sale for $9.99. Shipping should be free if you are Elite.
I am against store pickup but that is an option.

Good mouse using proprietary 2.4GHz frequency with snap-in nano transceiver for USB 2.0.

NO BLUETOOTH, i.e., won't work with iPadOS 13.4
You can use a USB-Lightning adapter (e.g. Apple's official camera kit adapter) to use this on an iPad with 13.4

Well here's another one to add to the mix: I've had this exact one for around 10 years. It's still one of my go-to mice when I need wireless.

it's a small cheap mouse, no complaints

i have probably bought half a dozen of these over the years and leave them in various business bags and a spare eneloop

battery life is insane

No it's a bit smaller. I've had one for a few years that I travel with since it's smaller, and lighter, than a regular mouse. I go thru one AA battery about every 6 months with regular use. held up well
