Non-retail packaging means these are likely fakes, which exist and can have connection issues.
This is true . Fairly common to see these "bulk packaging" ones for cheap . I made sure to spend a lil extra for one in retail packaging.
Works with elite but also allows multiple controllers and attached headsets to work

Normal Asus adapter works perfectly for me and all my other Bluetooth needs, unless this works for the Elite one as well?

This adapter is a must for certain wireless headsets like the Turtle Beach Stealth 600s.

Regular Bluetooth adapters cause latency at times . I don't play any competitive stuff either and i noticed latency. It went away when I switched to this adapter.

better off direct connection. I used to own one and never use it now , it was a real xbox wireless

It makes a difference in comp games

I got this on the last deal and I'm not sure if it gets easily interfered with or what, but mine is so inconsistent I'd rather play with my controller wired. I'm conflicted because I believe this should work well, perhaps I got a dud.

How come they don't bother making fake packaging though...
