Good deal! That's 25% in return! IDK why OP get 👎🏽.

It an enticing incentive, better than for example, Best Buy store/online purchase with their 5% or 6% in reward for Elite and Elite Plus holder, respectively.

Target has none; 5% off on all purchase. 5% of $1,000 is $50.

Amazon....well No comment...

Must have Costco Credit Card. Only works on select items. The playground sets are overpriced. Not really a great deal for me.

6x8 shed and 2 patio heaters looks to be the "best" deal if you just happen to need those items. Basically get the 2 heaters for $30 total after applying the $250 Costco card you get later and can only spend at Costco. You can not cash the cards in anymore per Costco policy.

EDIT the shed does not include shingles and you must build most of it yourself. Not fit for the average DIY person IMHO.

Yeah, I was in Costco loading my cart with good deals and then I saw the the playground sets and thought: Well, those aren't a good deal. Costco must totally suck and I must be a fool for thinking otherwise. Even though their profit margin on merchandise is < 25% and they're offering 25% off with this deal, I must be mistaken, because those playground sets aren't a good deal.

They didn't really say anything about Costco sucking. The reality is that yes, this isn't a good deal. It only works on a small number of outdoor furniture items, which are in fact not that well priced. Costco is great, but the terms of this deal are not.
