These are back in stock. Sorry don't post much but these could be helpful with what is going on in the world today.

update: These are not actually made by Wyze
iHealth No-Touch Digital Forehead Thermometer

I posted this not because of the great price but try and buy something from Amazon right now. They are over $100 and do not arrive for weeks. I understand it is priced higher then normal but good luck finding one that is not.

same price ($43.99 + $9.99 shipping = $53.98) from iHealthlabs [ihealthlabs.com]

Why not just get an infrared thermometer for cheaper at
home depot [homedepot.com] $23? - Because these are not intended for use on Humans as stated or else they be sold out by now. Also a buddy of mine has one and they are not accurate at all when testing human temperature, you always get around 93 degrees.

You can only return the thermometer IF if has NOT been opened.

Secret is.. none of wyze products are made by them... new firmware from existing Xiaomi products.

They still work though.

One Inch in the center and it is instant. Once temp reads on the device it will vibrate to let you know it is finished. I believe if your temp is over normal human body temps it will give you a different indication .

Comes out to the same price as on the iHealth website once you factor in shipping (already factored in on Wyze).

So, this product is essentially the same as a Xiaomi thermometer like this, but at a higher price?

They say these are not very good. It has to touch the forehead to get an accurate reading. Quick Google search and i'm sure you will find something on this.
That's contradictory to the instructions:

Review from WYZE site: My wife is a registered nurse (RN) at a large hospital near where we live and she has been using this thermometer for a few days now both on herself at home as well as the other members of our family. Since she's an experienced nurse, she's in charge of our family's regular health and well-being. She's not a doctor and she knows when to refer to a doctor. She is very happy with this product and she said that it's very well made and accurate. She has used a lot of professional thermometers in her hospital and she said that she is impressed with this iHealth thermometer. Given the unprecedented issues that everyone is dealing with right now, she definitely prefers this no contact thermometer compared to other contact thermometers that we already had in our house. Now that we have this iHealth thermometer, it's the only thermometer she uses now and the other thermometers at our house are no longer being used at all. She also appreciates that it provides a quick subtle vibration to let you know when the temperature has been registered.

One helpful tip that will improve the consistency is that the location where you aim it when taking a temperature is very important. The documentation (see highlighted section in my attached photo) shows that you need to point it at the center of the forehead (brush away any hair so it's pointing at skin only) and the other key part is that it needs to be about an inch away from the forehead. The documentation recommends 'Aim the thermometer probe at the center of the forehead and keep the probe 1.18 inches (3cm) away from the forehead (the optimal distance is about the width of an adult's index finger). Do not touch the forehead with the probe.' If you follow these important guidelines, the consistency should be much better. If you look through the reviews on Amazon for this same exact product, you will see many people complaining about inconsistencies with the temperature and it appears that many are not carefully following the guidelines above.

Stay safe and healthy.
