THAT IS A LIE!!!! AND FALSE ADVERTISING. This tablet came out in 2015 and what NewEgg is doing is very misleading.
Imagine the difference between a 2015 HD Fire Tablet and today's Fire Tablet (2019)... NIGHT AND DAY.
Now if you go to the reviews... runs slow, and VERY HOT, game play is choppy at best. And this is from games from 2015/2016.
Tablet time is also not great... 9 hours with no WLAN and brightness at minimum levels.

That's exactly the same thing which came to my mind when I saw this post.
That's what introduced me to slickdeals. But I think it was 2011.

I was thinking of using it to play PC games, or some sort of emulation to best the switch.
Also not being $1,000 or something.
Edit: Hows the Linux support on this? 4 gigabytes of memory, I really only get this if Linux could be installed, or a community modified, stripped-down version of Windows 10.
It seems like the processor is not too good for game emulation. while a Snapdragon 835 would be better for that purpose. I mean it could also be community support. I'm sure more people have snapdragons in cell phones than atom processors.
This is tempting none the less.

Yup I remember not sleeping for a couple days and trying to score one at 2 am refreshing websites.
As of yet I think it has been one of the biggest slick deal ever, or at least top 3.

I just want to get this to tinker with (maybe use it as a server?) but have literally no other use for it. The iPad unfortunately wins hands down now as a functional tablet.
