'As an essential business, identified by the Federal Government, our associates are working hard to serve you. We are implementing several new practices to keep our associates and customers healthy." Specifically, Information Technology has been identified as Essential Critical Infrastructure During COVID-19 by the Federal Government.
As for GameStop:
"Despite a state-wide lockdown, one GameStop store in Boston had still been serving customers. The store was then found out, and ordered to close by force.
Staff members were caught selling games to customers via the store's front door, which was slightly open to allow products out, and payments in. Any employees service customers were wearing gloves, or GameStop bags that were taped around their hands. These practices were advised by those higher up within GameStop in an internal email. All non-essential stores were ordered to close by the State of Massachusetts on the 24th of March. This is one of the necessary steps being taken to slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
GameStop attempted to argue that they were essential retail, since their products provide something to keep people occupied during their self-isolation. However, the company officially failed to meet the standards of essential retail, and so wasn't eligible for curbside pickup."
However, in Real World use, they note the following about the 5600 XT:
"At $280 USD the higher performing SKUs could make sense for users that are happy to tinker with or return faulty hardware. During our GTAV testing reflection MSAA resulted in very poor, almost matt, reflection fidelity (the same bug appears on several Navi and Vega cards). Whilst playing Project Cars 2 our 5600 XT PC crashed several times. Given the vast number of software (and hardware) problems since day one of the 5000 series launch..."
They list the reference price as $280 for each card.
Thanks!
