I'm playing the equivalent to the career mode right now, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. You don't win cars from Cups anymore. Instead, you get a free car daily for driving a certain amount of miles. It's an interesting system, but it's actually encouraging me to play less each day. In the past, I looked forward to earning a new car from a Cup and seeing how that car could be used in future Cups. The games used to have a nice rhythm like that. Now it's a bit more hodgepodge. I still love the racing. The AI is mixed. Honestly, for $10, I'd still say go for it.
Gran Turismo 4 for Ps2 is the ultimate Single Player GT game out there imo. So much win. This game I thought would replicate it, but it doesn't come close but still I've spent countless hours playing single player and not done. I just don't find it as fulfilling

Are you referring to the VR mode? lol
Because I tried playing Drive Club for PS4 VR and I felt sick almost immediately lol

I did to. I have a racing wheel setup and that did not help either.

The game is great. The most fun is the sport mode. You can race and actually win trophy. The graphic is so realistic.

I LOVE the GT games but prefer career mode to everything else. Should I pass on this?
