Same price as the fly more, but this has other stuff I guess
Sorry for my previous post about the price, I didn't realize it came with additional accessories on top of the fly more bundle. In this case, good price.
Kit Includes
1
DJI Mavic Mini Fly More Combo
2
SanDisk 64GB Extreme UHS-I Class 10 V30 U3 microSDXC Memory Card with SD Adapter
Costco is back ordered now. I like it over woot fly more combo because it has the charging dock and the extra battery. Not sure if Costco accepts return on these things though.

From my research, the Costco bundle has one LESS battery than the fly more combo. (2 vs 3). It does have that charging tube display case added though. I also don't think it has the propeller guards that come in the FM, and it has less extra propellers. Still, you can get a battery for $45, and the guards and propellers aren't expensive if you need them, so I initially opted for the Costco option, which I still think is the better deal at $389 vs. $499. My particular store had 20+ in stock in the store, so you should check yours.
They DO accept returns on these (at least unopened, don't know about opened) I returned mine unopened after I opted to order the new Air 2 instead. Return was easy, no questions asked.

Thanks. My local store doesn't. There is open box for $330 and original mavic air for $425.
Just looking to fly at the backyard and soccer fields. Do you recommend mini over mavic air 2 or should just get the air 2.
I believe both of them can be operated from the remote and not cellphone directly, is that correct?

Both should be remote WITH cell phone attached to it yes. Honestly I have not tried either DJI yet. If you can get an open box mini with the fly more combo for 330 I'd jump on it... if it is returnable (in case there's something wrong with it?). Usually those are returnable.
The mini is supposed to be easier, and doesn't require FAA registration. Either Air will require registration. The original air at 425 is great too if it has the fly more package.
The air 2 with fly more is 988 so it's a completely different league if you ask me. I have drone experience, just not with DJI. I opted for the Air 2 because I wanted the longer flight times and I'm comfortable flying drones already. Air 2 also has some obstacle avoidance features the Mini doesn't...but so long as it's in sight those aren't mandatory.
I don't think you can go wrong wither either of your options there, but go on YouTube and look at the comparison videos of these...there are literally tons.
