ATT [att.com] has deal for ATT Fiber Internet Customer: Free Wifi extender - YMMV DEAL
Logged into My account and clicked on the Smart Home Network.
Clicked on "Assistant" and then clicked on "Slow Wifi".
It asked me how many room (Sq Ft) and floors (2) you have in house.
And then did some diagnostics and message appeared "You quality for Free Wifi extender"
"New Wifi extender will arrive in 2 days".

And today, it was delivered. Working great!

PS: I have 1 Gbps fiber internet from ATT.

See under "Assistance" in Smart Home manager.
I told to my family members and they too go it. Seems YMMV

Tried the same thing, wasnt free for me. Have the 1gbs fiber as well.

I clicked on the Assistant (not Assistance) button on the top right. Then clicked on Slow WiFi and it did a speed test. Nothing about getting a free Wi-Fi Extender.

Nothing for me. Ran their speedtest and it indicates 990Mbps down but when I run 3rd party speed tests I get around 60.

Great!!! Worked for me as well. When I opened the app, there was a notification on top asking me to run some WiFi test to qualify for a free Wi-Fi extender...

Edit. I also have 1GBPS fiber internet
