I saw a couple of these at my local store for $249 and thought I'd share. The regular price is/was $324 according to Walmart's site. Brickseek is showing $175 at one other store in my area while most other stores are already out of stock (priced at $249). Also, this is only available in-store so this is major YMMV.
Unfortunately, this model doesn't have electric start like the 3200 PSI unit from
last year's deal, but it's still a pretty good deal regardless - especially if you can get it for $175.
I have the 3200 PSI model from last year's deal and am very happy with it. PowerStroke seems to be a decent, established brand that is also sold at other retailers too, so product support shouldn't be an issue if something breaks.

Agreed. I researched tons of washers and anything short of having a Honda, Subaru, or Yamaha got mixed reliability reviews. I ended up buying Simpson with a Honda GX200 and I'm glad I spent a little extra $$$.
Either that, or consider it a great as-is deal and fix it myself if needed.

While I agree, I'd rather replace a pump than deal with the frustration of a finicky or problematic engine.
Anyone have advice on sweet talking the staff to let me do a return/rebuy at the store with the lower price?

Don't sweet talk. Just return and rebuy when they put it back on the shelf.
Is the one at costco going on sale here soon?? Or are you counting on a mark down or something?
Yeah it's going down 80 off so from 349 to 269+ tax on the 15th when their sales starts next
April 15th it will be $80 off. It's a Briggs and Stratton engine though. But if anything goes wrong you have Costco warranty. I've been on the hunt for a solidly built gas pressure washer, but I can't find a bullet proof one with great reviews anywhere. Seems they all have their issues here and there, even with the Honda engines. Pump, that's at least $100 for a new one.
